Martin Mendoza Sanchez, Sr., 59, passed away at a local hospital on Saturday afternoon.
He was preceded in death by his parents Refugio and Refugia Sanchez and by one son Christopher Sanchez.
He is survived by his wife Estefana Sanchez; two sons Martin Sanchez (Terry) and Benito Sanchez (Melinda); two daughters Delma Fiscal (Frank) and Yvonne (Jesse); two brothers Tony Sanchez (Nina) and Isidro Sanchez (Anita); six sisters Anita Vasquez, Otila Guerra (Elario), Guadalupe Garcia (Manuel), Alicia Garcia (Emilio), San Juana Almaraz and Sylvia Torres also 17 grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday and Tuesday with rosary both days.
Church services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in La Paloma.
Burial will follow at La Paloma Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the care of Henry Thomae Funeral Home 701 N. Bowie San Benito. 399-9992.
