Juan Arturo Menchaca, 67, passed away on July 2, 2011.
He is survived by his children from his second marriage with Hilda Menchaca. Their children are Yolanda Jeanette Menchaca, Juan Arturo Menchaca Jr, Benjamin Joseph Menchaca, Jorge Luis Menchaca.
His grandchildren are, Roger, Brooke, Cameron, Hilde, Max, Isabella, Nathanel, Charity.
His only great granddaughter is Makayla Nevaeh.
Also surviving are his is three loving brothers Ignacio, Pedro, Jose Luis Vargas and three loving sisters Sylvia Menchaca, Diana Vargas, and baby sister Carolina Grainous.
He was a loving father, we are blessed to have been able to spend a very special Father’s Day with him in MN.
Juan retired from the Army as a First Sergeant and also retired from INS as an Immigration Supervisor.
Visitation was held from 12 noon-9 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 in the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 inside St. Benedicts Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment followed at the Ashland Memorial Park, Harlingen, TX.
