SAN BENITO, TX—Teodoro Cuevas, 84, passed away at a local hospital on Monday, September 19, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his son Baldomero Cuevas.
He is survived by his wife Mercedes Cuevas of San Benito; four sons Guadalupe Cuevas (Tomasa Martinez), Teodoro Cuevas, Jr.; Daniel Cuevas and Robert Cuevas, all of San Benito; four daughters Angelita Guess, Norma Cuevas (Sam Meza), Esmeralda Meza (Victor), all of Blomington, Indiana and Maria Isabel Zuniga (Alfonso) of San Benito, TX; one brother Ramon Cuevas; three sisters Teodora Cuevas, Paula Camacho and Guadalupe Cuevas; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at Henry Thomae Funeral Home in San Benito.
Church services are scheduled for 10 a.m. ion Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Valley International Christian Center with Jaime Loya officiating. Burial will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
