SAN BENITO, TX.—Our dearest Daddy, Nolberto Abrego, Tuesday April 10, 2012, you went home to be with our Lord and Savior and into the arms of the love of your life, your wife, Oralia Abrego, and your parents Erasmo and Delfina Abrego, who embraced you with their undying love.

You leave behind your children, Lupita Abrego, Jessica (Moses) Lockhart, Cecil Abrego, Mary Harrell, Samantha (Odie) Hurley, Ernie and Alyson de Leon. Your grandchildren, who were your special blessings, Norma Alicia, Samuel Quintin, Abby, Zachary. Your siblings, Manuel (Anna) Abrego, Erasmo (Maggie) Abrego, Jr.; and Maggie (Joe) Noriega, sister-in-law Janie Abrego and your good friends who helped watch over you Anna and Meme Armadillo. You were preceded in death by brother, Ray Abrego.

Throughout your life you touched so many people with your good humor and kind soul. You were always there for your family and friends who loved you with the same love you gave to them.

You will be laid to rest on Friday, April 13, 2012 with a church service at the First Presbyterian Church in San Benito at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at Mont Meta Cemetery, and a celebration of your life reception at the First Presbyterian Church of San Benito.

Those who will carry you to your final resting place will be Meme Armadillo, Rick Becerra, Tony Bernal, Jorge Aguilar, Charlie Kennedy, Buck Rhyner, Dillon Vanderford, Miguel Angel Villasenor, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers, Bob Cowgill and Paul Loop.

Bro, we know you will watch over us until we meet again. Kiss, kiss.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Henry Thomae Funeral Home 701 N. Bowie San Benito, TX; 399-9992.

    So sorry to hear that Mr Abrego passed. Both he and his wife LaLa were like my second parents growing up. Lupita and Jessica were my dearest friends from our Fred Booth days to our adult years. Mr Abrego was a kind and caring man. Prayers to all his family.
