Ygnacio B. Gonzales, 100, of San Benito, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Concepcion McHaney; and son, Alejos Gonzales.
He is survived by his six children: Luis (Juanita) Gonzales, Armando Gonzales, Genoveva Gonzales, Benita Gonzales, Roberto Gonzales, and Sam (Hermelinda) Gonzales. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.
