SAN BENITO, TX–Enriqueta F. “Queta” Gutierrez, 76, of San Benito, TX passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. She loved to dance and listen to music; she was employed with Good Samaritan Nursing Home for 32 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Agustin Gutierrez; her son, Mario E. Gonzales; her parents, Agustin and Lucia L. Flores; a brother, Ernesto Flores, Sr.; and a sister, Eva F. De La Cerda;
Enriqueta is survived by her children, Reynaldo Gonzales, Eugenia (Hector) Jalomo, Ramiro (Elvia) Gonzales, Raquel Moreno (Javier Claudio), Reymundo (Glenda) Moreno, and Rogerio (Vicky) Moreno, Jr.; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Isaac Erondu officiating. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Hector Jalomo, Jr.; Brian Jalomo, Richard Jalomo, Marcos Gonzales, Justin Aguilar and Edwin Aguilar
