Touring the PD

On Wednesday, June 6, 10 Cub Scouts from Pack 25 from All Saints Episcopal Church in San Benito arrived at the San Benito Police Department for a tour of the facilities. The children were led by James Fullingim, den leader, assistant and cub master. Some parents were also present during the tour. Sunny Glen donations

Making a difference

Members of the Los Carnales/La Familia Motorcycle Club held a car, truck and bike show with entertainment on April 29 in Brownsville. The proceeds of this event went to Driscoll Children’s Hospital and the Sunny Glen Children’s Home in San Benito. On June 2, members of the Los Carnales, a law enforcement members’ motorcycle club, came to the campus of the Sunny Glen Children’s Home to visit with the children and present a check for their care for $1,000. Members of the club said that, in their jobs, they see too many terrible things and were glad to make a difference in the lives of the children. (Courtesy photo)
