The 22nd Annual Conjunto Festival, hosted by the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center, was held in San Benito over the weekend to its largest crowd yet, organizers have said.
“In comparison to previous years, this has got to be the most successful in terms of participants,” said Rogelio T. Nuñez, the Center and event’s co-founder.
Though numbers reported thus far are not yet completely tabulated, according to Nuñez, there were over 3,000 people in attendance at the event coming from as far as Chicago, California and Florida.
