SB graduate runs for Brooks County District Attorney

One of San Benito’s very own has decided to run for the 79th Judicial District Attorney in Jim Wells and Brooks County. A graduate of the 1994 senior class at San Benito High School, Rumaldo “Rumy” Solis Jr. is currently the Assistant District Attorney in Duval County, located about 140 miles north of his hometown, and had previously spent time as a prosecutor in Jim Hogg and Starr County as well as working under the District Attorney in Cameron County for a little over two years.
