Juan R. Avila

Juan R. Avila, Jr., age 64, passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center on September 26, 2015. 
He was surrounded by his family and close friends.
Juan was born on October 9, 1950 to Juan L. Avila, Sr. and Luz S. Avila.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Yolanda Avila of San Benito, TX.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria Elena Avila Cortez, whom he was married to for 43 years; his son Federico (Fred) and his wife Blanca Avila, grandchildren Brandon, Sheila, Ethan and Zoey Avila; and his loving daughter Gracie Avila. He is also survived by his three loving sisters Victoria Rodriguez, Maria Luisa Rosales, and Maria De La Luz Adames.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Iglesia Gloria En Gloria, 1233 W. Buchanan St., Harlingen, TX 78550.
