Guadalupe “Pete” Guzman

SAN BENITO, TX—Guadalupe “Pete” Guzman was born in La Paloma, Texas, and on Monday, December 28, 2015 unnamedwas welcomed in heaven as she was surrounded by family and friends.
She was a nurse, teacher, advocate, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Most importantly, she was and is fervent believer and follower of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She loved, served and touched countless people.
Psalms 16:11. You make known to me the path of life, in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with family testimonials to begin at 6:00 p.m., with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Directors. Cremation will follow in accordance with her wishes.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Daughters of America Court Bishop Enrique San Pedro, P.O. Box 1715, San Benito, TX 78586 in Guadalupe Guzman’s name.
