Dear Sharon, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. I know how difficult this must be for you especially at this time of year. I remember how beautiful your mom was when your family was moving you into our dorm room that first week of school at SWT. You are so fortunate to have your own family now to surround you with love and support to help you through this emotional and difficult time. I want you to know that I’m praying for you and your family and that all of your memories are cherished ones to comfort you. Love, diane

Thank you so much, Diane. I guess with her being my Mom I didn’t think about her appearance that much, but I guess the first time someone said something to me about her being attractive was in 8th grade in San Benito, when our Student Council president commented to me the next day about her looks after an open house at the school the night before. I took this same photo to the nursing home in Floresville on my last visit to see her to show the staff what she looked like when she was younger, and her young male nurse, commented in front of her, “Wow, she’s beautiful!” Hopefully that lifted her spirits. I am so glad we reconnected recently. Please let me know how you are doing, what you’re doing and where you are, etc. I hope life has been good to you overall. Hugs, Me
