A 24-year old San Benito man was arrested Saturday night after injuring another man during a dispute involving a handgun.

According to San Benito police, officers were called to an apartment complex around midnight Saturday, where Sammy Saldivar was arrested for deadly conduct after he fired a shot from a .40 caliber pistol during an altercation with a 30-year old male. The male victim apparently grabbed Saldivar’s hand as he pointed the pistol at him and a single shot was fired.  The victim suffered minor injuries from the blast of the pistol.

This kid needs to be locked away. His intentions are not safe for our town.

At exactly what age would consider the “kid” age to end? I think most would agree that this person is an adult. Or maybe perhaps you feel that this “kid” just needs a hug and more parental direction at his young early age.
