Talk about instant Karma.  According to San Benito police, a 24-year old male subject was arrested for deadly conduct for allegedly pointing a gun at a federal agent after a “road rage” incident this past Monday afternoon.

Police were dispatched to the incident, which occurred near the frontage road and Oscar Williams road, around 3:31 p.m., after a Customs and Border Protection agent called in for assistance.

In a bizarre twist of events, agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were in a separate vehicle at the red light and assisted the CBP agent in the apprehension.  The CBP agent alleged that the driver of a F-150, later identified as 24-year old Travis Reese Lopez, pointed a black-in-color pistol at him on the highway, prompting the apprehension.
