The San Benito Public Library in conjunction with the San Benito Historical Society will be hosting the fourth annual Charles M. Robinson Day on Saturday, June 25 inside the public library. The event will be aimed at reminding the community of one of San Benito’s most accomplished citizens and is expected to draw more than 50 people.
Robinson was an accomplished author, illustrator, and adventurer as well as a history instructor with South Texas College. A former member of the Oxford Round Table, Robinson had over 20 historical books published and is credited by those who knew him as having a “photogenic memory.”

    His Mom too was an outstanding person/instructor…sweet, sassy, and smart…I really enjoyed having her as a teacher in junior high…she was NOT racist in any way…very nice caring woman…<3
