Back in May, Marissa Nicole Maldonado made waves in San Benito when she became a semi-finalist for a spot on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Although she ultimately fell short of her lifelong dream, Maldonado vowed that she

With her heart set on dancing for a living, Maldonado has spent the majority of her summer touring the state of Texas for her chance. She caught an audition with the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers and spent time at the Bring It! Live Tour Meet & Greet.
