OMEGA, GA–Belia Garza Barrera, 80, of Omega, GA died on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her family.
A private funeral service and burial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Barrera was born on January 1, 1934 in San Benito, TX and was the daughter of Juan Barrientos and Maria Garza Barrientos, both deceased. She was a homemaker and had lived in Omega, GA for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Barrera is survived by her husband, Martin Barrera, Sr. of Omega, GA; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Martin Jr. and Jeannie Barrera of Hereford, AZ; and Rene Barrera of Omega, GA; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Noemi Barrera and Ramon Claudio, all of San Benito, TX; Maria A. (Annie) and Jackie L. Cox of Tifton, GA; Dora Robles of San Benito, TX; and Melva Barrera of Omega, GA; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
